Description
Tagrisso (osimertinib) is a medication used to treat non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that has a specific genetic mutation known as epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) T790M mutation. This drug blocks the activity of the EGFR protein and inhibits tumor cell growth.
Storage Conditions:
Tagrisso should be stored at room temperature and protected from light and moisture. Keep it away from children and pets.
Mechanism of Action:
Tagrisso selectively binds to the mutated EGFR protein T790M. The drug then inhibits the activity of the protein, which stops the growth of cancer cells and leads to their death.
How to Use:

More serious side effects may include interstitial lung disease, heart problems, and eye problems.
