Azithromycin/Teva is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections by blocking the production of bacterial protein. It can be taken orally in tablet form or as an extended-release oral suspension, or as a powder for injection. It is used to treat respiratory tract infections, skin infections, ear infections, sexually transmitted infections, community-acquired pneumonia, and acute bacterial sinusitis.
