How to use Serostim?
It is available in vials containing different dosages like 4mg, 5mg and 6 mg. In order to avoid bacterial infection in multiple-use vials of 4 mg, bacteriostatic water in mixed into the vial which can be used up to 14 days, if kept in refrigerated condition. The vials containing 5 mg and 6 mg Serostim are designed for single use in which sterile water is mixed to inject it immediately. While injecting water into the vial you should aim on the glass wall of the vial so that it can mix into the medicine in circular movement to dissolve it completely without shaking. If any unused part of the prepared dose is left in the vial then it should be discarded as it will become unusable after sometime.
